I confess I couldn't find it by clicking around the site, but, helpfully, Jeff gave the URL is the evoline 2002 list posting.

Work in progress (con)
Cursor froze in the first half of this message, so I decided to post and continue here. This has happened before and I suspect - will not use it - the apostrophe! - that seems to sometimes freeze the cursor.
Jeff sent a message to the evo 2002 list reporting that he had done a screencast on window management. I have not found this yet,
BUT I must look again.
Practising Skpye interviews - did a trial, using Audacity, BUT, my voice - very good recording - interviewee - pretty faint. This was using a headcast, but separate mike (non-USB).
At same time, recorded trial conversation with PowerGrammo.
Work in progress - observations and queries
Thanks to Jeff for picking up from this blog my difficulties in getting to the Academy webcast and coming up with one of his great screencasts explaining, step-by-step what to do.
Thanks also, Jeff, for answering my query to the webheads list about windows management. I haven
Alex Ragone - Introduction
Where I live...
Hi - Here's where I live!
You can't post attachments to a blog response. It appears that in order to post my pictures, I need to be posting in my blog rather than responding to Paul's blog entry. Is that true?
In the end, I may have made these pictures a little too small. How do you all decide on a good size (both size and file size) when you post pictures to a blog?
Help with Wire Tap Pro needed!
Yikes! My recording today seems to have recorded everything double or with an echo. At first I thought it was just that it recorded stereo so I split the tracks and deleted one but listen to how terrible it sounds. I'll try again tomorrow.

Where I live...
During today's webcast academy session, someone mentioned that it would be neat to see what its like around where we lived. So here are three pictures I found on Flickr that describe, Ottawa, Ontario, the Capital of Canada to me.
Skating on the Rideau Canal (World's longest Skating Rink) in the Winter
Workshop experience
Before the next session, my personal aim is to find out if:
1. One should head straight for a Skypecast connection and NOT go to the Academy.
2. If, after making the connection, once should join chatroom at the Academy
3. Jeff referred to asking for the microphone. Where? In which window?
I could hear perfectly, and it was fascinating, but I couldn't join if, for the reasons above.

Sound problem
Sam, Screencast 3:
1. Was the only one so far I did not have to download.
2. For me, it is without sound.
Other Windows screencasts are fine.

Schedules
It looks to me as if the schedules for our meetings aren't synchronised i.e. different times in Newsletter & Webcast Schedule. Am I wrong about that? Dennis
Dennis: Audio introduction
Greetings to you all and a special "Hi!" to my CETEFL colleague. You all sound young, dynamic and professionally successful. I should learn a lot. Trying to catch up, so a short and simple introduction.
Dennis
More an apology than an introduction
True I've been travelling, but I still feel like the boy that's arrived in the third week of the semester. I'm finding my way around, but there were/are areas of the Academy I didn't realise existed. I'll get my new micro tomorrow, and I'll be with you. Dennis
Workshop#1 - 2 Way Telephony Recording
Skypecast here
We will be working on recording both ends of telephony calls. You'll need your USB desktop mic, and the basic pieces of software listed in the Webcaster Kit.
Windows users, please check out the new screencast on this topic at: http://www.webcastacademy.net/screencasts/2wayrecording/index.html
Mac and Linux users, we do not yet have screencasts specifically about recording two way audio for those OS's, but Lee's Nicecast tutorial may be of help to Mac users. If any Mac or Linux users can produce a screencast on this topic, please do so.

Lee's Intro
Welcome to all the 1.2 interns. The neighborhood is getting very exciting and I am anxious to get to know everyone better. I have really enjoyed the introductions from everyone! I have recorded my intro and it is admittedly sappy ...no way around it...but I love messing around with enhancing and editing audio. (This recording is also set up as an enhanced podcast.)
I didn't mention that my previous careers were playing with a musical touring group, audio engineer, and trainer for a USET World Champion Endurance Racer (not all at the same time!) In the academy, I have done the webcast called SpaceCast (8th grade elgg students, their teachers and guests) and been involved with Teachers Teaching Teachers. It's nice to meet all of you and to learn more about the other 1.1 interns.

EdTechTalk Brainstorm - July 20, 2006
Hi, I am sending along the edited audio for the EdTechTalk Brainstorm for last Thursday. I hosted the show for Doug Symington. Discussions on the show centered around blog software such as elgg and WordPress and its application for schools, and the EducationBridges Elgg.
Dave from Florida joined in and talked about his experience setting up a blog for his region and had quite a bit to contribute. Paul Ellerman, Cathy and chat room participants had information to add as well.
The recording starts after the show began due to technical difficulties...mosty my own! Please excuse the audio quality..voice levels were not even and I had to resort to a Planetronics headset after my mic broke right before showtime! I fixed it as well as I could for the time had to edit...it is very time consuming to fix if not recorded well to start with.
