After years of neglect, renovations to the mothership site (Worldbridges.net) have begun. These will hopefully make this a more functional and user-friendly portal for the community of communities that is Worldbridges.

Worldbridges has begun using Google calendars as its primary means of publishing scheduling information. We have been using Drupal (the content management system used on most WB sites) for event posting, but there has been no effective way to cross publish on different sites and adjust for time zone differences in a user friendly way. Using the google calendar system should allow individuals to post events to their relevant community calendar from within their google accounts. It is also possible to aggregate calendar info from all or some of the community calendars.
